Applications

· Biochemical physiology: cerebellar regions (e.g., terminal regions or nuclei regions) can be excised to facilitate biochemical analysis, such as analysis of neurotransmitter and metabolite concentration levels

· Anatomy: Fine coarse die-forging of brain tissue before ultrathin sectioning

· Neurophysiology: Coarsed segmentation before sectioning with a vibratome
